for Health Foundation at Ickwell Bury in Bedfordshire.

Having obtained the Training Course Certificate, I went on to complete the Remedial Training Course.

Hi, I’m Margaret Cook and I
have been practising yoga for
over thirty years.  I teach the art of Hatha Yoga which comes from “Ha” meaning Sun, your outgoing public face, and “Tha” meaning Moon, your inner, private self. Hatha Yoga sets out to bring harmony into your life by balancing these two faces through exercises (postures) and deep breathing.

My classes are designed for adults of all ages and abilities and you will all be working at your own pace.  If you do suffer from any physical difficulties, please let me know so I can take these into account.

I was priviledged to have been trained by the late Philip Jones, one of the most outstanding yoga teachers in South Wales and who was a founder member of the British Wheel of Yoga.

I undertook my teacher training with the Yoga

My initial qualification covered the fundamental knowledge of philosophy, psychology, physiology, breathing and energy practices as well as asana, whilst the remedial course developed my skills to deal with people with special needs.

I am a member of the British Wheel of Yoga and the Association for Yoga Studies (aYs).

To find out when the next course is running please check the classes page.

If you would like to get in touch with me, please visit the contact me page. I look forward to seeing or hearing from you soon.
